Netra Basti

Netra Basti (or Netra Vasti) is a unique Ayurvedic treatment specifically designed to rejuvenate and soothe the eyes

Overview

In this therapy, a dam or “basti” made of dough is created around the eye sockets, and warm, medicated ghee (clarified butter) is poured into it. The ghee is held in place for about 15-20 minutes, allowing it to nourish the tissues around the eyes and absorb therapeutic properties through the skin. Netra Basti aims to reduce dryness, strain, and irritation, and it’s commonly used to improve vision, alleviate stress, and reduce dark circles.
